Every mainstream media outlet report on Gore’s interview with police cites KATU News as the source of the San Francisco meeting. The local news report on July 26, however, came after The National Enquirer’story on July 23 which was ignored by the MSM.

This latest development in the sexual assault case against Gore is part of Portland Police Chief Michael Reese assigning his detectives to conduct “a complete investigation in an expedited manner.” Spokeswoman Detective Mary Wheat did not respond for comment about the San Francisco meeting with Gore.

Reese released a statement on July 1 that he was re-opening the 2006 case against Gore because of “procedural issues.” Reese stated that there “should have been command level review at the time on the specifics of this case and decisions on whether the investigation should go forward.”

When reached for comment, Gore family spokeswoman Kalee Kreider said she would not comment on the case while the process is still ongoing.
