url='http://www.emilymillerdc.com/2010/08/13/ben-quayle-caught-in-raunchy-web-flap/';size='small';username='@EmilyMillerDC';Ben Quayle, son of former Vice President Dan Quayle and candidate for congress, admitted that he was a contributor to the raunchy gossip website TheDirty.com. The site’s founder Nik Richie alleges that Quayle was a co-creator in 2007 and wrote about hot girls on the nightclub scene under the alias “Brock Landers.” Quayle denies both of these allegations. Quayle is one of ten Republican candidates vying in the August 24 GOP primary to replace retiring John Shadegg in Arizona’s 3rd District. “Who is Brock from the Dirty Celeb Brock’s Chick?” Richie posted as an “exclusive” on Monday. “I have kept it a secret until right now… the mystery man is Ben Quayle aka Brock Landers, the son of Vice President Dan Quayle.” Brock Landers is the porn-star character played by Mark Wahlberg in the movie Boogie Nights. “I’m not Brock Landers,” Quayle told KTAR-3TV. “He is 100% lying,” Richie fired back. “He’s the one who came up with ‘Brock Landers.’ I didn’t even know what that name is.” “I sent him on a mission to find the hottest chick in Scottsdale and he succeeded,” said Richie referring to the discovery of the sexy girl, deemed “Brock’s Chick,” in the post by Brock Landers. “I did get the hottest [...]

url='http://www.emilymillerdc.com/2009/07/31/sarah-palin-disses-reagan-library/';size='small';username='@EmilyMillerDC'; Sarah Palin announced that she is not attending a Republican women’s event at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on August 8, despite weeks of media reports to the contrary. Former Alaska Governor Palin’s spokeswoman said in a statement on Facebook that “The Governor has other work and commitments to take care of at that time.” Posted late Thursday on Palin’s “fan page” on Facebook, the statement says: “Neither the Governor’s state staff nor SarahPAC has ever committed to attending this event or speaking at this event, and even requested that the Governor’s name be removed from the invitation several weeks ago.” The library event is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Simi Valley Republican Women’s group, with Sarah Palin as the highlighted keynote speaker. As stated, we invited her to attend and we were honored by her consideration …We will refund ticket purchases for anyone who chooses not to attend.” Palin’s first public event since resigning as governor has been widely reported in the press, even though the event is closed to [...]
